Women and tech: The new love story
-

-
Women are catching on men on technology ― not just on the Blogher community of female bloggers. Says a new U.S. study reported by Reuters/Information Week: “Diamonds are no longer a girl’s best friend, that found three of four women would prefer a new plasma TV to a diamond necklace.”
The gap is closing. Women feel more comfortable with hi-tech device, could trouble-shoot a computer problem, and own more gadgets (6.6 devices per woman against 6.9 per man). But the study also finds that “over the next five years women see themselves increasing their activities in six tech areas: digital cameras, cell phones, e-mail, camera phones, text messaging and instant messaging.”
Great! Online dating is the business to run for the next decade.
