- Entertainment/Social networking - ClicMobile: Get to know if your contacts are within “meeting” range. - vPod: Video service a la You Tube, that can do cellphone-to-cellphone broadcast. - Platial: A mash-up between a social network and a geolocalization service. People are pinpointing their favorite places in a world map and could share their list with others.
- Localization - Idevio: Recently chosen by a car security company to geolocalize stolen cars.
