Make your own Voicebooks

Many of you listen to podcasts. There are cool enough if you take them on the go on your audio player, but on the computer, they’ll be a lot better if they can embed some pictures. To stop the frustration, you could use VoiceThread, a new service that allows users to make voicebook in an easy way.
You just need a series of pictures and a microphone to start. Each page or slide could welcome up to 28 comments, and people can even zoom on the picture thanks to the Flash technology (so you should upload only big pictures to avoid the pixels.)
“Despite the first glance impression, VoiceBooks are not slideshows, and neither are we a photo-hosting site. What we are is a place to talk, capture and then save the voices that surround our images, a new kind of web forum,” says the company. It’s more like an audiobook that could be used in classroom to record audio commentary about the ideas and experiences that import to students.
