Too small cellphone screens? Let’s double it

With giant 8GB hard drives, or solid and versatile operating platform, mobile phones are on the good track to become portable computers. Design evolves too. Korean inventor Hong Jeong has designed this two-screen cell phone concept for easier web browsing, with a secondary screen folding out to make it wider.
The two screens could be used either for one widescreen or as two separate screens, with the right acting as a continuation of the material on the left. No precisions have been made on its energy consumption, nor the CPU charge. But such a phone would ease web surfing, and on top of that, would ease mobile IM users, who right now can’t launch several chat windows in the same time. The invention hasn’t made it into production. (via aving)
