The Skype “turtle” phone

It’s not a concept but a trend that Asian manufacturers are trying to make appear. The trend to bury a speaker VoIP phone into everyone’s mouse.
After the clamshell mouse by Sony, this is another candidate ― a mouse that we’ll call the turtle ― which hides a keypad on the bottom side while keeping speakers on the other side. Incoming calls cause the whole structure to vibrate, and you to stop clicking on your pointing device.
While the mouse could be suitable for a conference call, we still need to figure out why the embedded speaker and microphone aren’t enough to make a VoIP call.
