Pirelli has girls and VoIP phones

The Pirelli Group might be more famous for its calendar featuring heavenly creatures in bikini than for its broadband sister company. But it announced its intention to enter WiFi mobile phone market with the launch of a dual-mode mobile phone.
The Pirelli Discus DualPhone DP-L10 combines GSM tri-band capabilities with SIP-based VoIP support, via an integrated WLAN 802.11g interface. Not many details were revealed except the fact the Dualphone should work on every network using standard communication protocols, but is reportedly still undergoing interoperability tests with several leading European telcos.
Some more accurate elements will be told quite soon, as the company will participate at the VON Conference Europe in Stockholm, Sweden in May. So seriously, who would like to see introducing the Pirelli phone? Giselle Bundchen or Kate Moss.
