MySpace in British cellphones

While MySpace has put one tentacle in Japanese cellphones (for now), it’s looking for some space to conquer in Europe, more precisely in the UK, home land of Rupert Murdoch, News Corp/MySpace owner. Britain mobile operator O2 is reported to be in talks with the social network. O2 seeks also the Bebo social network partnership. But no deal has been closed up so far.

Either partner would bring some big traction to 3G services. MySpace claims to have over 100 million users while Bebo shows more than 22 million.
