In France, there’s something about MSN Messenger

Microsoft France is casting a viral marketing campaign. The first episode is a video anonymously posted on DailyMotion, the French clone of YouTube. Our verdict? Not cool, not great, not fun.
“Miss DestinĂ©e” (literally Miss Destiny in English) is a 20-something attractive woman playing the Nostradamus forecasting game. Indeed, she knows more than you, she knows that “you’re worrying about the future of your beloved MSN Messenger (sic).” And when she comes to unveil a few detail on the instant messaging client, the video gets totally encrypted.
So far, MSN fan blogs has failed to find more details on what Microsoft is going to launch. If you dig French, go check the video (29 seconds, French speaking only and no subtitles) or wait until May 1st to find the answer on the associated website.
So let’s do a little bet. We predict that Microsoft will only announce the release of Windows Live. What do you think?
