Motorola patents a voice clearing system for conference calls

We all know what noise reduction or noise cancellation means. Now, here’s the voice clearing. Great idea for shy conference call participants and women who cannot make themselves as audible as opera tenors. Motorola has filled a patent application that would equal voices of conference members.
At the start of a new call, a software will listen to every one briefly and decide whether any voices sound particularly alike. And they will be pitched up, “by five semitones” if necessary said the patent filling. (thanks emily)
