Acoustics on cellphones scores among the hot industry domain of the moment. Look at this one: a technology, patented by Motorola, that will automatically adapt the sound level depending on the age of the caller.
The enhanced cellphone will scan the user’s voice, detect its speech pattern, and if it recognize any elderly voice, will boost incoming and outgoing audio while increasing the font size of displayed texts.
What is really cool with this technology is that it could work with every phone. Not only with cellphone specifically designed for the elder, just like the Samsung Jitterbug, which features large dialpad buttons.
Previously, we covered some other companies, such as Skype-Sonorit, TechnoConcepts or Akustica, that are also on the verge of improving the current cellphone audio quality.
