Emoticonal wearables: Your shirt is your phone

MoBeeline is triggering a new era in mobile phone use. Seriously. If you do want to feel part of the system, you’ve got to get one of those Bluetooth shirts or coats.
Here’s how they work: The garment, full of LED, displays what you ordered it to. Emoticons are parts of the basic dingbats that you can send to your shirt. But background colors and front colors are among some of the customizable criteria.
It’s not the first wired wearable accessory (see “Hug me, you’ve got my number”). But this one could lead to other use. For instance, your contacts could send you emoticons. Just to show off that you’re an interconnect popular person. Or imagine that the LED is maturing into a full display screen for your cellphone. No more need to look at your cellphone. Just tell some directions in your Bluetooth headset and let pictures or even videos appear on your sleeves or moving around your chest. Check some more pictures and the video on the website (via).
