Microsoft made another step on its VoIP-everywhere road. “Great progress”, as said Annop Gupta, Microsoft VP for Unified Communications Group, in a release that announces two releases: The Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 which should deliver VoIP and which entered its private beta stage; And the Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, which brings our customers unified messaging, enhanced mobility and a simple way to manage their communications infrastructure.

While this could save some phone bills, a recent report from analyst firm Gartner insists that corporations would adopt it more for “the business process integration” it can drive.
