Last week, Jajah already announced some premium services, such as conference calling and SMS sending. But, that’s it, those guys are back in town, with two big smiles.

The first one is a self-congratulation. According to them, the American people just love their web-based VoIP phone service. A snapshot of their monthly visitors statistics for March testified that impressive “jolt”.

Now the second: Jajah clinched an extension of their phone service to mobile phones. The offer is expected to debut the next month, April 2006, and would bundle a modified version of Opera Mini and be incorporated into Symbian OS.

The reason is simple, Jajah top executives signed some exclusive technology agreements with Opera Software and Symbian. The last one powers Java-enabled mobile phones.

By setting those contracts, Jajah shrinks its trail on Skype, turns down its status of outsider and is becoming a serious challenger. If things go that way, on next Wednesday, they will announce that they will acquire Skype.
