61% of cable VoIP users are “happy”

Is there an Eden for a VoIP caller? The answer is: Yes, it’s the cable. Around 61% of them express satisfaction, said a SupportSoft survey, focused solely on VoIP delivery.

Internet telephony users of cable providers are almost twice as confident about the reliability of their VoIP service as the customers of specialized providers. 80% of respondents said that they get IP telephony and broadband Internet access in a bundle.

Although, cable providers have their drawbacks. 34% of respondents acknowledged that a technician had to visit their equipment within 90 days of the initial service installation due to a problem.

And still according to the survey, problems occurred when users make phone calls and surf on the web simultaneously.
