License to broadband wiretap

Maybe the first time, when the US FCC seized its authority to force broadband phone service providers to comply with the national wiretapping program, several groups, including Sun Microsystems, thought they could overturn the decision.

But no. And now, it’s going steady as rock: They’ve got to knuckle to. Yesterday, the US Court of appeals for the District of Columbia backs the FCC’s decision, reports Reuters. VoIP providers must allow wiretapping by May, 2007.

The ruling will certainly feed some controversy started by the NSA wiretapping program, and the very recent No Net Neutrality vote cast by the US Congress. For now on, watch your mouth, readers, avoid telling Allah is great, you may be black listed or tracked down as this guy.
