It’s Europe, broadband access has been a hot activity through since last year, and telcos have quite all there triple-play offer (Internet access, IPTV, and VoIP). Deutsche Telekom has finally come to this point.

Through its T-Com division, the biggest German telco is debuting its T-Home triple-play service, with a high-speed Internet access up to 50 Mbps, IP telephone and TV services using the Microsoft TV IPTV Edition. For a comparison, in France, regularly quoted as the best European country for DSL services, telcos like Iliad Free or Neuf Telecom provides a bandwidth around 20 Mbps.

Plans start at €20, including broadband access and voice over IP telephony, and go to €40. It’s very affordable to get well connected. But this also announces another round of price war among the major European ISPs. And a little bird told us that Neuf Cegetel, reportedly seeking between €500 million to €800 million, on its IPO, wouldn’t the only one to increase their size to lower their prices while extending their services.
