AT&T sues Time Warner for sabotage

Regularly, cablecos are complaining about telcos practice, and telcos do the same. The (small) war hit another stage with AT&T filling a lawsuit in a Texas county court against Time Warner Cable’s San Antonio division. According to AT&T, the cable company is doing “a methodical invasion of facilities owned, operated and controlled by AT&T Texas” at apartments and other multiple-dwelling units in and around the city.
AT&T pinpoints Time Warner field technicians, who are cutting or disconnecting wires and jumpers inside the telco’s building terminals. And Time Warner would do this “solely to gain competitive advantage and commercial benefit.”
A recent survey reported the American VoIP market has expanded by 18%, and that Time Warner is doing pretty well, confirming its rank of second biggest VoIP provider in the country. So far Time Warner decline to comment on the lawsuit. Have you seen such behaviors from Time Warner technicians?
