Rumor: Apple and Intel working on an ‘intelligent’ non-iPod device

The Apple rumor of the day comes from the Inquirer. The magazine speculates on the Apple/Intel honeymoon that could result in a new ‘intelligent’ device which wouldn’t an iPod.
AppleInsider dished a short comment on the rambling, saying there were lately some “excitement among Intel executives about the way Apple was ‘thinking different’ about the chip maker’s technology and the possibility for future Intel/Apple gadgets.”
Any clue?
